This Old House

Well, some of my family recently came to visit from Pennsylvania. Over two successive weekends we accomplished quite a bit around our house. Yes, my house is older (being built in the 1950's), so the work made quite a difference. We replaced the plants in many of our flowerbeds, fixed our broken fence, did some redecorating inside, and a few other odds and ends. For your enjoyment, here are some before and after photos of the yard work that we did first. There are three photos: before, during, and after the work. The first was taken while we were looking at the house back in November and December last year, but the plants didn't really look any better by the end of summer. As you can see, a few new plants made a nice improvement.
