Well, it's the middle of October, so I guess I should expect this, but we got about six inches of snow here yesterday. If the ground had been frozen, it would have easily exceeded that amount. Still, the weather appears to be warming up, and in a couple of days it will all be melted.In the meantime, the wet snow we got was enough to demolish one of our butterfly bushes (it was as tall as the fence - I had just trimmed it a few weeks ago.
I was going to mow the back yard over the weekend - well, I can always get snow tires for the mower I guess...
